Walnut Valley Water District is excited to announce that it’s accepting applications for the Information Technology Manager position.

WVWD is seeking a dedicated individual to join the team. In this position, you’ll become a pivotal part of the Walnut Valley Water District’s Administrative Services Department.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field with coursework in technology-related subjects.
• 7 years of experience in the development and maintenance of computerized management information systems, installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting personal computers, networks, telephone systems, and associated operating systems and software applications.
• Experience must include supervisory level (3 years)

HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
